Shaheen Afridi, the great pacer for Pakistan, bowled four devastating overs in the Pakistan Super League cup game against Peshawar Zalmi. Shaheen, the captain of the Lahore Qalandars, gave his team an incredible start to the game by breaking Mohammad Haris’ bat with his first pitch of the innings and then sending the stumps flying with his very next delivery. Babar Azam, the captain of Zalmi and the Pakistan national team, was also dismissed by Shaheen a few overs later.

Shaheen finally finished with a five-wicket haul in the game, as Qalandars were able to hold Zalmi to 201/9 after establishing a massive score of 240/3 in 20 overs courtesy to his excellent numbers of 5/40 in four overs.

“We cannot underestimate anyone in this competition since all the teams are performing well. It worked for me because I gave it my all and concentrated on landing the ball on the hard length region ” Shaheen stated after the match.
