KKR’s teenage sensation Suyash Sharma dazzles on IPL debut, baffles RCB!

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made a bold move during their IPL 2023 match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by introducing a new player, Suyash Sharma, at the iconic Eden Gardens. This was made possible by the impact player rule, which allowed Suyash to make an instant impact against RCB. Despite his inexperience, Suyash displayed a positive attitude that impressed KKR head coach Chandrakant.

Teaming up with mystery spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine, debutant Suyash demolished RCB, causing Du Plessis’ men to fold for a paltry total of 123 in 17.4 overs while chasing a mammoth 205. Suyash’s impressive performance was acknowledged by his teammates, who greeted him after he dismissed RCB batsman Karn Sharma during the match.

It is worth noting that Suyash was not even born when India contested the 2003 World Cup final against Australia. Despite his youth, Suyash’s debut was a resounding success, and he has shown great potential as a player. His performance has undoubtedly caught the attention of cricket fans and experts alike, and it will be exciting to see how he develops in the future.  After Kolkatas’ resounding 81-run victory over RCB, Chandrakant praised Suyash for his performance. This is a testament to Suyash’s hard work and dedication to the sport. As a new player, he has already made a name for himself and has proven that he has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
