Prior to departing for India once the third Test in Indore begins on March 1st, the 29-year-old will spend a few days in Sydney.
According to sources, Pat Cummins has flown home for some personal reasons. And for the third test that will happen in Indore, he will rejoin the team and play the match.
Regarding the series, on Sunday in Delhi, India defeated Australia by a margin of six wickets to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the series so far, Cummins has taken 3 wickets at an average of 39.66.
According to a News Corp report, Swepson will rejoin the Australian team in India before the third Test.
