Will Pucovski is about to make a comeback to professional cricket, five months after declaring the suspension. The 25-year-old stated late last year that he was taking time away from the sport to concentrate on his mental health after dealing with a number of concussions throughout his young career as he advanced to a Test debut.

While the duration of Pucovski’s absence from the game was unknown, cricket fans rejoiced to hear that he would play in Monday’s second XI match between Victoria and Tasmania in Hobart. This year, he’s been playing premier grade cricket in Melbourne, and he’s now stepping up to represent his state once more.

Pucovski has continued to be active in the cricket community despite taking a break from playing recently. He was a commentator for Channel 7 for the entire BBL season and Test summer, and he won over many viewers with his knowledge.
